Mombasa county gives one month amnesty to defaulters

Mombasa county government is losing millions of shillings due to unpaid land rates by more than 30, 000 land owners. Lands, Housing and Planning county executive Edward Nyale has said that most of the defaulters own unregistered property and therefore not easy to track down. The county has now issued a one month amnesty for the defaulters to pay up, or face penalties.
