Ideally... our swimmers should be able to pass the Advanced Water Safety Drill by swim float swimming to the wall.. not by returning to the wall on their back. Setting up the equipment like this is a great way to over-train them for the Drill. They have to take a long swim back to wall when they jump in so far away from it. Even if the student does not actually do the drill of falling in with their clothes on, he needs to be able to independently do this activity before progressing on to Grade 5.
