Flight to Sweet Home and Foster Dam

This is a solo flight I embarked on to a neighboring town. Foster Lake sits near Sweet Home, and is formed by Foster Dam which is fed by the South Santiam River. I can fly low when there are long fields below me, but as I got closer to the dam I had to climb high to ensure I would be within gliding distance of an emergency landing field in the event of an engine failure.
