VIDEO COOKING DEMONSTRATION AND RECIPE FOR SPICY, MOIST RICH HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN PIE MADE IN THE THERMOCHEF.

This family favourite is scrumptious. Super easy and fool proof. The Thermochef makes the filling in 1 minute and the pastry in 25 seconds. Why not make it for dessert tonight.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Quantity of Shortcrust pastry rolled into a 20 cm deep pie plate.

FILLING INGREDIENTS:
4 whole eggs
50 grams maple syrup
50 grams brown sugar
5 grams ground cinnamon
10 grams pure vanilla extract
30 grams plain flour
150 grams of cream
500 grams of cooked cold pumpkin

METHOD:
Place al the filling ingredients into the thermochef bowl and set speed to 3 for 1 minute. ( Thats it! I told you it was easy)

Pour into raw shortcrust pastry shell and bake at 170 degrees celsius for 45 minutes.

Allow to cool, decorate if desired and eat with cream, icecream or on its own.


This Pumpkin Pie is nice to eat hot or cold. Great  for Halloween or that day at the beach.  It's a real lunchbox hit.
