HONEY CARROTS VIDEO COOKING DEMONSTRATION AND RECIPE.
Easy vegetarian side dish made in the microwave.

This family favourite is popular with kids. Easy to make, tastes delicious and features on many restaurant menus. This little demonstration shows how quick and simple this dish is to create with the help of your microwave. You could, of course, make this dish in the oven or ,wrapped in several layers of foil, on the bbq just adjust the cooking times until done to your liking.

INGREDIENTS:

300 grams peeled thickly sliced carrots
25 grams honey
freshly ground pepper to taste.
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
25 grams of butter

METHOD:

Place carrots in deep microwave safe dish, add remaining ingredients. Pop on the lid and into the microwave on full power for about 6-8 minutes. Depending on the temperature of your carrots and the wattage of your microwave.
Check for doneness., give it a stir and serve. Make sure you drizzle a little of the sauce over the top.
Great with lamb, chicken and roast of any kind. Perfect for that Christmas Dinner.
