Watch the lion on the back of the truck as it passes by.  This is the Damascus, Maryland Lions Club in the July 10, 2009 Celebrate Damascus parade.  In all seriousness, the Damascus Lions Club is one of the most active charitable organizations in town, helping a variety of causes and citizens.  You can see some of those in this video, as well.  In front are students who received scholarship money, and the men in back are demonstrating the wheelchairs that have been provided.
