Delivered at Casual Connect Europe 2018. The MENA’s mobile gaming market is one of the world’s most profitable markets even though it’s virtually untapped. High spending users, also known as whales, which make up less than 10% of users, generate more than 58% of a game’s revenue. Managing whales is a pretty difficult task however, managing whales from the MENA is much more challenging. With barriers such as language and cultural sensitivity, these whales need 24/7 support to keep them engaged. This talk will focus on the importance of managing whales from the MENA with an emphasis on why localization is the key to unlocking this market.
