CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The SkyStar is now staying in Cincinnati through June 16. That news on the day after the Ferris wheel was set to close. The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber made the announcement on Dec. 3. The chamber says 100,000 riders have ridden the SkyStar since it opened in Cincinnati on Sept. 1. "We're thrilled that America's largest portable observation wheel is sticking around for Cincinnati's spring events including Asian Food Fest and Taste of Cincinnati," said Cynthia Oxley, director of corporate and community events for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. Tickets are $12.50 each. The gondolas are heated.
