Sgt James Baldassarre, a survivor of the Bataan " Death March " continues testimony and tells of unsanitary conditions that existed in the warehouse in San Fernando. Japanese packed 4,000 men in the area. Prisoners received only handfuls of rice during the entire march. Filipinos buried alive. Maggots in toilet ditch. No medical attention for the ill. Witness tells of seeing General Masaharu Homma drive by in a car during the march from Mariveles. Upon cross examination by Captain George W Ott, assistant defence counsel, the witness states that he was told by a Japanese guard that Homma was in the car.
