South Africa still considering ICC withdrawal

South Africa's Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe says that the government has not changed its position on a possible withdrawal from the International criminal court. Radebe was briefing the media at parliament about the cabinet’s recent meeting in which a number of issues were discussed. South Africa has complained that the ICC did not give it a fair hearing and that there is confusion within the court itself about the obligations of member states to arrest sitting heads of state of countries which are not members of the ICC- like Sudanese President Omar al Bashir.
