Kenya Airways has made some financial headway as it moves to revamp its flagging business operations. The airline's pretax loss for the six months to September narrowed slightly to $116million, aided by lower fuel costs, which fell 37% during the period. The airline, in which the government holds a 29.8 percent stake, reported a pretax loss of more than $122 million in the same period last year.
