Members of Parliament were told today it was unfair to fully blame the present Pakatan Harapan (PH) government’s move of removing 429,945 National Higher Education Fund (PTPTN), borrowers from the Immigration blacklist, for the drop in loan repayments from January until September. This, as the previous Barisan Nasional (BN) administration’s move in extending the grace period for the PTPTN loan repayment, is also partly to blame for lower repayments this year.
