loudlabs.com RIVERSIDE - Early Saturday morning August 04, 2018 the California Highway Patrol along with the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to reports of an overturned semi. The accident was reported around 1:57am on the westbound 91 Freeway, Mission Inn off ramp. According to the semi truck driver, a car lost control and caused him to swerve and lose control himself. The overturned semi was hauling sand which spilled across the off ramp. It's unclear if the car that originally lost control remained at the scene. Officers had a person detained at the scene however, it's unclear if he was involved in the crash. No injuries were reported and the crash is under investigation.
