Just a zero voltage switching flyback driver running a jacobs ladder. This was run at around 12V, 5A with my power supply set to 30V (voltage sag causes a relay to trip, hence the clicking every time an arc forms and breaks) and is probably approximately 300-500W.

A different test with a chicken stick and a small disposible camera flash tube resulted in a red hot electrode, possibly because the tube acted as a sort of capacitor.
