A quick lab tip for everyone. Many people that don't have a dedicated lab bench that has some chemical resistance and/or don't mind having a specific workbench getting dirty can use paper towels to try to soak up drops of liquid before they reach the table surface, however puppy training pads can be used to absorb aqueous solutions before they reach the table surface, or contain slightly larger spills.
