Santorini - Volcano climbing 2/3

55 Euros for the optional tour for boat ride and volcano climbing. There was a board stating 15 Euros for the trip as the operator had slashed prices in this off-peak tourist season of May. One young lady, Jamie asked me whether I would just pay 15 euros since I did not book with our tour manager. My wife had said there would be poisonous volcanic gases and she did not book this tour. The winnery tour was cancelled. I usually take the optional tours as this is usually once in a life-time visit to Greece for me. Boat cruises on the River Seine in Paris and Bosphorous River in Istanbul cost a bit but why save on such expenses after travelling so far from Singapore? I prefer to pay the tour manager as he spends time with us on this boat cruise to the volcanic island instead of just waiting for us to come back. Why begrudge him his livelihood?.
