CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Some colorful characters entertained families on Fountain Square Saturday as local mascots faced off in a game of broomball.

3CDC has been putting on this free event for seven years now.

The game ended in a 4-to-4 tie with a little bit of cheating, but they gave the crowd a good laugh.

"It's just to get all of the folks from Cincinnati out to get excited about our city. Also to be able to be out and be a great fan base for the local colleges, as well as the local companies and small businesses from around the area and just a good opportunity to get kids out to have clean good fun," said comedian T.J. Cruikshank.

Broomball teams play Monday through Friday on the ice rink at Fountain Square.

You can catch them in the evenings until Feb. 12.
