State audit questions campus safety at Sacramento State

Two years after a chemical spill at Sacramento State, a scathing state audit about the health and safety on campus was released. The audit is a result of demands made by the CSU Employees Union that date back to a May 2016 chemical spill. The union tried to work with the CSU administration but ended up going to the legislature in March 2017. The audit was granted at the request of Assemblymember Jim Wood in June 2017. The results were released Tuesday.
