Dog sled racing is an exciting activity usually seen in communities near the Arctic Circle, but it is also a popular sport in southern Argentina.  Tourists come from across the region to the very tip of the country see the friendly local Huskies demonstrate their speed and endurance.  

Las Cotorras winter resort on the outskirts of the city of Ushuaia is a popular destination for tourists wishing to see the dogs in action.
