Humans have to decide whether they want a diverse ecology or do they want a mono culture because Mother Nature intended sea lions to eat fish. Yes humans have created a problem with the dams but killing sea lions will not save the salmon. Humans have no catch limit on Shad and pike minnow are a bounty fish at the Bonneville Dam, but if sea lions are seen eating fish-- they get on governments death list -- this simply is unjust to target and kill sea lions for eating multiple fish at the Bonneville Dam or on the Columbia river. The sea lions consume 1% of the spring run, and this video shows the shad run in May 2012 there were two animals present and they were not killing fish only the humans were doing that. Sea Lion predation is insignificant compared to the human predation. Music by Lynn Conover
