Fishermen killed fish after fish at the Bonneville dam 05/22/12 It is a crime that humans can kill all the Shad they want and that sea lions are being denied sustenance. Sea Lions eat Shad and they eat all the other non native fish(80%) of the Sea Lion's diet consists of fish introduced by the sport fishing industry which compete for resources with the salmon smolt. National Marine fisheries 2009 report stated that the biggest detriment to baby salmon are the introduction of non native fish to the Columbia river for sport. This report said NOTHING at all about sea lions.
