Witness a moment in Damascus history in this special episode. This pay phone - located at Damascus High School alongside Route 27 - no longer exists! One day in Damascus this spring, I noticed this old fashioned pay phone, and stopped to capture it on film. But when I was driving through the lot the day of the Brittany Jones fundraiser (May 27), I noticed that the phone had been removed. There is a small hole where it was, and that is all that remains. I'm assuming it was officially removed by Verizon. But here is an anachronistic artifact preserved on video for your enjoyment.
