Counter assault charges against the Midvaal Mayor and an ANC member have been provisionally withdrawn in the Vereeniging Magistrate's Court for further investigation. Bongani Baloyi and Rembuluwani Malange were arrested on Saturday after they laid assault charges against each other. This after violence broke out at an Arbor Day event in Savannah City.
