Six people have already applied to fill the vacant position of Chief Justice. The deadline for the application has been extended by a day due to the Eid-ul Fitr holiday to be marked tomorrow. The position was left vacant after the immediate former occupier of the office Willy Mutunga took an early exit mid last month.
