Samburu and Pokot hold peace talks over pasture

A ceasefire deal has been reached between leaders from the warring Samburu and Pokot communities. The agreement among others stipulates that both communities retreat to their native homes during the rainy season to avoid confrontation over pasture. The peace deal is aimed at ending years of conflict over grazing lands.
