Fix Dog Fear and Anxiety with Play Drive

Puppies can be scared of random things. However, their play drive is the best way to get them become confident. There are many ways of handling dog's fear and anxiety. When I first saw my dog Ember unsure of the log I found it funny. Until I tried walking her towards it I realized she was serious about it. I sometimes use treats but I found the best way is using the dog's play drive which is totally opposite of fear and can help overcome fear. It all depend on what the fear is about. Say if the dog is fearful of a hair dryer, it is harder to use play drive because you need the dog to be still when you dry your dog. But if it's about fear of an operating lawnmower and similar item, I found play drive is the best. In this video the fun of playing around and on the log has replaced fear.
