Ghana's men's and women's sides qualify for round 2

Ghana has sealed their place in the World Hockey League second round. The West African country's women's team beat Kenya 1-0, while their male counterparts gained a 2-1 win over Nigeria. That leaves the men's side with a 100 percent record going into the next round, which will be played in a knockout format in Valencia, Spain. Teams from Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria and hosts Ghana are participating in the competition.
