For the latest news across Belize, visit: http://edition.channel5belize.com/ Businessmen Michael Modiri and Bradley Paumen have been locked in a protracted legal battle on both the criminal and civil ends after a business deal turned sour a few years ago. Today, they were back in the Supreme Court where an ongoing dispute involving shares in a joint venture took centre stage. The case before Justice Shona Griffith, saw the parties agreeing that shares in a tract of land in question are in fact owned by Paumen who transacted via a third party. While they have been embroiled in the lawsuit, attorney Oscar Sabido told the media that his client, Michael Modiri, is a step closer to being compensated, having established ownership of the shares.
