LACOFD firefighters responded to a fire in a three story apartment building on Centralia. {Police officers were dealing with a suspect when he was able to barricade himself in a unit of the apartment building. When officers tried to have the suspect come outside he barricaded himself and lit the third story unit on fire. LACOFD could not access the unit until the SWAT could clear the situation. Firefighters gained access from above using possibly four ariel ladder trucks. It is unknown what the suspect is wanted for at this time other than arson.
