The promise in the tourism sector is proving tangible with the entry of more players in the hospitality industry. Swiss hotelier, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, has opened its first Kenyan branch in Westlands, here in Nairobi. The firm is looking to tap into the capital which it terms as one of East Africa’s fastest-growing hubs for tourism and trade. With tourism products growing in scope and uptake, Mövenpick has a provision for leisure guests as well as those seeking conference facilities, more so in light of Kenya's growing appetite to host large local and international conferences.
