Children Of Gov't Pensioners Can Buy PPA1M Houses

Children of government pensioners now have the opportunity to buy affordable houses under the 1-Malaysia Civil Servant Housing Scheme, PPA1M. This was confirmed by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa. The children of government pensioners will be allowed to buy houses ranging from RM150,000 to RM300,000 for landed or strata unit, even though they are not working for the government. Tan Sri Dr Ali also announced that the medical facilities enjoyed by parents of civil servants would continue even after the public servants retire. He also called on all government pensioners to continue helping the government by properly disseminating government information and policies to avoid inaccurate information going viral. He said government pensioners should actively contribute to the idea of realising Malaysia's desire to be among the top 20 countries in terms of economic development and championing the well-being of the people by 2050.
