Here is a great moment from the parade - a float honoring American war veterans in Damascus from World War II, Vietnam, and Iraq. Watch the veteran in the yellow shirt who, realizing I am filming, gives a salute to the camera. Behind the veterans are two appropriately All-American vehicles - a classic Chevrolet Camaro, and a vintage Chevrolet pickup truck. A salute to the veterans who made it possible for us to enjoy events like the Celebrate Damascus parade on July 10, 2009 in Damascus, Maryland.
