Rugby star SBW is caught up in the Australian cricket team's war with South Africa.

Our cameras spotted him at the iNTERNATIONAL Airport with fans before boarding his flight with the Union convert thrust into the Warner - De Kock blow up which has made headlines 'round the world.

South African officials used masks of Sonny Bill to taunt Australian hot head David Warner and his partner Candice, after a verbal altercation between the batsman and South Africa's Quinten De Kock.

The masks were in reference to Sonny and Candice's love tryst in a Coogee toilet block back in April 2007 when he was a Canterbury Bulldog League star.

The taunt from the South African's has been widely condemned.
