This video is part of the Chakra series I created to support my yoga teacher trainees.

Sacral Chakra (2nd/Swadhisthana Chakra)
Here are a few points about this chakra:
- Located below the navel and above the pubic bone (two inches from the belly button).
- This is the reservoir of life energy from which chi is channeled or directed through the rest of the body. 
- In balance we flourish with the qualities of sensitivity and intuition; are idealistic and a dreamer; can handle change (able to go with the flow of life); enormous capacity for creativity and partnerships with others; and have strong sense of self, what you want and can find creative ways to get it. 
- Out of balance the person is unable to let their creative juices flow. Instead, they are stuck in routine and sameness.
