Kenya's Women's group taps into informal credit

In Kenya, low income workers are turning to informal savings and credit groups known as 'chamas' or cooperatives, instead of banks. A group of women from a Nairobi slum started a 'chama' seven years ago and have been able to put up a gated housing community for members on the outskirts of the capital. Vik Chege with more.
