Is it faster than highway speeds? Faster than a race car? Maybe faster than an airplane? Measuring an arrow`s speed accurately is problematic, but luckily there is a way through calculation. Watch me how to calculate speed using force, distance and mass. Metric result is converted to feet per seconds at the end. [Conversions: m/sec x 3.6 = km/hr, m/sec x 3.2808 = ft/sec (factor 3.2808 = 1000mm, a meter ÷ 304.8mm, the metric length of a foot, which was calculated as 12 inches x 25.4mm) and m/sec x 2.2369362 = miles/hr, (factor 2.2369362 = 3600 seconds in an hour ÷ 1609.344 meters in a mile, which is 5280 feet x 0.3048m a foot`s length in metric)]
