The workers of TSTT continue to face the threat of dismissal, according to the President of the Communication Workers’ Union, Clyde Elder. He says the CWU already has an injunction against the telecommunications company, but they may have to consider another, with the receipt of a letter from its management. Mr. Elder says the retrenchment issue is all about destroying the union and curtailing any power they may have. The CWU General Secretary insists that other State Companies also have to look out for threats to diminish the amount of workers in their ranks.
