Adam Meighan Charged for Rape of U.S. National

The victim, who is a student, reported to police that on Thursday morning at around nine o’clock the woman was sexually assaulted by a man as she was about to get into her vehicle. After she was allegedly raped, the woman claims she was robbed of over eight thousand dollars in cash by a man who was armed with a machete. There is also a report that she was assaulted five weeks earlier, but in both occasions the U.S. Embassy has not been involved. Today, Police say that thirty-one-year-old Adam Meighan has been charged for the crime.
