Axed SARS commissioner Tom Moyane has filed an urgent court application to overturn President Cyril Ramaphosa's decision to fire him. His court papers have been lodged at the High Court in Pretoria. President Ramaphosa earlier refused a demand from Moyane to reverse his termination of service as head of the SA Revenue Services. Ramaphosa fired Moyane on the 1st of November. This came after Moyane, who had been suspended earlier, continued to fight the disciplinary process against him, as well as the Sars commission of inquiry into 100-billion rand hole in revenue collection over the last four years, under Moyane's watch.
