The device is about the size of a heart pacemaker and delivers dosages of a bone drug, either at a pre-scheduled time or activated by remote control. The device holds 20 daily dosages and is still in the trial stages. According to Micro Chips, future versions of the device will hold 365 doses and allow doctors to administer patients' medication remotely.
