Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, is the new president of Somalia. He will be officially inaugurated on February 22. Along with pervasive gravy, the threat from Islamist al Shabaab rebels, who regularly launch attacks in Mogadishu and elsewhere - the new president also has to deal with a severe food crisis in parts of the country, a young population demanding jobs and empty state coffers.
