Thirty-two-year-old Darrell Alexander Usher was slapped with a number of charges. Police in Belmopan have charged him with five counts each of attempted murder, use deadly means of harm, aggravated assault and two counts each of grievous harm, harm and one count of wounding. Usher is accused of reportedly using his SUV to run over the five persons, including an eleven-year-old girl. The incident happened two days ago on Cemetery Street, Belmopan. The victims have been identified as thirty-seven-year-old Jessica Sagastume, thirty-seven-year-old Blanco Cho, eighteen-year-old Javier Choc, fourteen-year-old Jorge Pene and eleven-year-old Kadesha Habet. ACP Joseph Myvett explained what may have led Usher to allegedly commit the crime.
