In this tutorial I'll give you a quick tip on how to use Illustrator's "Symbol" panel (available in release CS5 and above) to set a fixed pivot point that you can use in multiple ways. One of the most common usages is to create radial clones with an arbitrary rotation center and an angle different from Illustrator's default 45 degrees.
