A 59th_day Dachshund dam needed an emergency Caesarean section - herniated intestines

The breeder auscultated the dam and detected softer and softer puppy heart beats. He requested an emergency C-section. Two well developed pups were delivered but one had herniated intestines. This pup was operated but could not survive past 20 hours as seen during my farm visit the next day.
