The Number of unclaimed bodies lying at Moi Referral Hospital mortuary in Voi, Taita Taveta County, has risen to 16 in a span of two months. 8 of the bodies that started stacking up from November 2017, are of Ethiopian Nationals.According to the Moi Referral Hospital Superintendent Dr Felix Kamotho, most of the unclaimed bodies have injuries, suggesting that the victims might have been subjected to torture before they were killed. Speaking while handing over medical suppliers to the Referral hospital, Haki Africa Chief Executive Officer Hussein Khalid, claims the facility has become a dumping site for murder victims ,a trend he termed as worrying and a threat to the national security of the residents .
