He was of Berber origin, and was the first Christian author to produce an extensive corpus of Latin Christian literature. Google [October 22, 2016] Tertullian and Origen were Early Church fathers that lived during the late second and early to mid third centuries. Pope Celestine I was Pope from 10 September 422 to his death in 432. According to the Liber Pontificalis, the start of his papacy was 3 November. However, Tillemont places the date at 10 September. Google [October 2, 2016] Cyril of Alexandria was the Patriarch of Alexandria from 412 to 444. He was enthroned when the city was at the height of its influence and power within the Roman Empire. Google [October 23, 2016] Theodosius II (Latin: Flavius Theodosius Iunior Augustus; 10 April 401 – 28 July 450), commonly surnamed Theodosius the Younger, or Theodosius the Calligrapher, was Eastern Roman Emperor from 408 to 450. He is mostly known for promulgating the Theodosian law code, and for the construction of the Theodosian Walls of Constantinople. He also presided over the outbreak of two great christological controversies, Nestorianism and Eutychianism. Realizing how television programming is sometimes framed to accommodate certain narratives, I could not help but wonder if there wasn’t a historic dig toward Nestorius in Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey, the 1977 Christmas stop motion animated television special produced by Rankin/Bass Productions. It originally premiered on ABC on December 3, 1977
