Thanks to the explosion of the internet, the growth of social media and the fact that today almost anyone and everyone has an affordable smartphone, having a career as a youtuber, blogger, media influencer is very much a reality. In fact, the number of people who are taking strides and moving into this direction is steadily growing every single day. But then the million dollar question is this - is this really feasible? What are the chances of having such a career? What are the chances of being able to sustain and survive doing or having a career as a blogger, youtuber or media influencer? And finally - what is the success/failure rate of those who get into this line of work?
I do not have data or statistics but all I can tell you is that this is not a cake-walk and this is not a career if you cannot handle the stress and pressure of being creative, of having everything removed from right under you and if you cannot handle the punishing reality of being irrelevant one day.
