Canadian government donates cash to South Sudan refugees

Canada’s government has donated 320,000 dollars, which is about 1.2 billion shillings to South Sudanese refugees, especially the expectant mothers fleeing into Uganda.

State Minister for Relief and Disaster Preparedness Musa Ecweru  who received the delegation from Canada welcomed the donations but appealed for more help to stop environmental degradation as many refugees are cutting down trees.
