Government bans public smoking, warns those providing smoking rooms

Until today, a smoker could just walk out of a public room and head outside to puff on a cigarette.

However, that luxury is no more.

According to the Tobacco Control Focal person from the ministry of Health Dr. Hafsa Lukwata offenders will be fined 200,000 shillings, face a jail term of 6 months, or both.
