African Development Bank warns Uganda on loan absorption

The African Development Bank is warning that Uganda's ongoing portfolio of USD $864 Million dollars in net commitment could dwindle, in light of low absorption by government projects. According to ADB's Country Manager, Kennedy Mbekeani, because of variances in absorption of committed funds by different projects in the country, over all disbursement rate stands at 35%.
